K-12 students attending any Wicomico County Public School are able to use their school-issued lunch number to check out 5 books at any one time. This virtual card is limited to books only and must be used by the student themselves.

Schedule a Class Visit
Schools and organizations can schedule group visits with the Wicomico Public Library's Paul S. Sarbanes Branch. Group visit structures are flexible and can be shaped to meet the needs of your group. Children age 2 - 6 and their caregivers are invited to Mini-Montessori! Montessori play is purposeful play that mimics real-life tasks. It focuses on mindfulness during activities and focusing on the task at hand.
Children 0 - 5 and their caregivers are invited to Preschool Playgroup. Join us for free play, developmentally appropriate guided play, and structured activities, all while learning early socialization.

Attending Children
Children under 8 must be monitored by a guardian who is at least 13 years old to assure the safety and behavior of that child. Children ages 8 and older may visit the library independently provided they are able to care for themselves and are able to understand and follow the Library’s Behavior Guidelines.
In the Young Thinkers Club, children will play games and do activities that get them thinking--and having fun! This club is led by faculty and students from Salisbury University's philosophy department.
If you're between the ages of 7 and 12 and love to draw, paint, and create, join us as we learn a different art technique each session and create works of art that you can take home with you. Pre-registration is required.
